A splendid tutorial showing how to resolve the issue of blank menus and dialogs in various components of SketchUp Make 2017 and its plugins (like Maxwell Render) when running under WINE in Linux, due to missing MSHTML rendering engine compatibility, including installation of 3D software, installation and self-update of the winetricks helper tool, installation of Internet Explorer 8, change of Windows support version in WINE, addition of library overrides, some other tips and tricks, and more.
