How to disable network protection (PrevX1)?

    How to disable network protection (PrevX1)? Do I need it? I use Outpost PRO 3.

    Ok, I think its not possible to disable the network protection...

    Does this network protection slow down internet?

    Can't answer this with certainty, but it seems like Prevx1's network connection acts like an outbound firewall (but not inbound). It doesn't appear to slow down the internet (this is only my own observations).

    But i find the outbound control irriating. Too bad you can't turn it off.

    The ABC, Pro,expert modes are not flexible enough to allow selective turning on and off.

    If you don't like it, complain to Prevx1 team. You are hardly the first.

    Yeah i don't think it slows down, if there is a slow down, it seems to me to do with all the checking with online databases stuff whenever it detects something new starting.

    To turn it completely off you would need to switch to ABC mode, Pro mode will only alert on unknown programs, though, so it's a bit better, this is the mode that I use. I agree with DA, click the Support link in the program and request the feature, Prevx has always been responsive to user feedback.
