I deleted BOTH FileHistory keys and the TrueImage key.

As I expected, I then started TI, mounted and dismounted a volume, and TI recreated the FileHistory key in the TrueImageHome path.

Many apps keep such MRU, etc. lists.
The registry is cluttered with such debris, one reason the registry grows and grows.

the list grows anytime one references/creates a backup file.

Acronis Support had already answered my question that you quoted.

Thank you but I'm well aware of all this and it has nothing to do with my original question. However, if your intention was to inject some general information for other users then I would be obliged if you didn't use my posts out of context as an introduction.
