can anybody recomend a good program to create thumbnails (video or pics) in windows. i know it can be done in windows by choosing an icon size medium or bigger but it doesnt much control of where the thumbnail cache is stored etc.doesnt let the user pick at which point to grab eg. the first few seconds, and it doesnt always pickup all files to be thumbnailed
I believe only XnView will generate thumbnails, but it has never really worked for all file types on my machine. So I still use Windows Explorer for this. But perhaps I should look for a third party file manager, because I prefer the "Details" view and it's annoying to keep having to switch.
