I'm new here in the forum (registered on 31th October), and i'm also asking me how to start a conversation with someone. When i click on the avatar of an user, the text "Start a conversation" does not exist - there is only "Profile page", "Follow" and "Ignore". Is this feature eventually restricted for new users?

 

It's because your a new Member and not sure when you can?

 

Worth noting that once a new member achieves the requisite post count (enabling them to send PMs), they still might encounter members who have limited who they will accept PMs from... Limiting Private Message Receipt to only Members on your Buddy List

 

Thanks for your replies. Today i found that it works now, so the required post count seems to be reached.
