    Q) Based on the above, what are some good combinations of these extensions?
    A) For users who don't want to change settings:
    1. NoScript (allow scripts globally) + Adblock Plus (EasyList + EasyPrivacy)
    2. NoScript (allow scripts globally) + Adblock Plus (EasyList + EasyPrivacy) + one of (Ghostery, DoNotTrackMe, Disconnect)
    3. NoScript (allow scripts globally) + Adblock Plus (EasyPrivacy) + one of (Ghostery, DoNotTrackMe, Disconnect)

Does "NoScript (allow scripts globally)" add any value?

    Thanks
    Rico

Ok it has some limited value then :) I sit semi-corrected.
But I wouldn't set a firewall up to default allow and only block what I had explicit rules to block, it's the wrong end to attack the problem from, be it scripting or networking.
Better than nothing but not that much better.
