I have installed a belkin router to share the boradband among our group.
We all have XP installed in our official laptops & our personal laptops OS varies from XP, Vista or Windows 7. Our official & personal laptops have different workgroups.

I want to know how to broadcast message among the group.

By broadcast method, I will assume you mean you want to 'chat' with everyone rather than broadcast some udp packets or something specialized.

If this is true, then you need to find a small chat program that is designed to be used in a LAN. They exist, I have used many of them. You could of course go over the internet to get to them. It would be faster to use a LAN client though. Windows used to have a built in tool to do that, but sometime around XP SP1 (if my memory is correct) it became too exploitable to be of any more use, so it is no longer used.
