How to backup activation status win7

    does anybody know how to backup windows 7 activation status ie. whether windows has been activated or not. i dont know if its possible or not but has anybody tried it successfully.

    The activation status is backed up when an image of the system partition is created.

    do a google search for "token restore" this will backup and restore your win 7 lic as long as its on the same machine...i have it here somewhere and will post it for you tomm when i can upload it if you cant find it

    Great tool to backup windows Vista/7/2008/2011 and Office 2010 activations is the Advanced Tokens Manager.

    ABR only works on OEM (factory preloaded) installations, like the one you find when you buy a branded computer like Sony or Toshibe, for anything else, Advanced Tokens Manager is the way to go.
