How stable and fast is KAv 2006 beta?

    I want to know hos stable and light is KAV 2006 beta? worth a try?

    Beta 1 is very stable so far, with virtually no problems so far (just a few typos in the Installation process, nothing big). Very fast and seems to catch everything I throw at it. Definately worth a try.

    Hi POS

    I also am running KAV2006 beta and I like it, but remember it still is a beta and you may have issues. I've had several issues. I have had to turn off one component since build 217 and am currently running build 224 since build 225(the latest) doesn't work for me at all. Just be aware that you can run into issues.

    Is necessary to run ZA OSfirewall if I use KAV 2006 proactive defense?

    I´ve installed KAV 2006, and set it to update. It has updated. After this I tried to update again, but it said it was up to date. Now i try to update again and its downloading a 5mb update!

    the update of a 5mb file has finished. Aftet that i tried to update angain and its updating a 5mb file again!! Help please!

    I would suggest you stop trying to update, at least until one of the Kav gurus see this thread.

    After downloading 3 times a 5.4mb update, now KAV says its up to date
