I answered "check in daily", although in practice it's somewhere between there and "always here" (or "never leave", or however it's worded). I'm usually in several times a day to see what's new, both in tech support and socially.

    Pieter,

The question does not apply to you unless you feel you are a visitor in your own home :D

    Cheers,

    Gerard

Your home forum is the one where you post the most?
Then this one is on its way of becoming "home" :p

I think what gerardwil meant was, if you're an admin then you're trapped here. :D :D

Actually your own equating "only when there's problems" with "never leave" is probably a slightly bittersweet truth, huh? ;)

Oh I had to vote for the "I never Leave!" since there was no option like "I sign out occasionally" up there. :D

    Hi Rainwalker,

Do you mean the li'l computer icon that used to be under each Member's name, and would light up bright green when they were on-line? That was a nice icon with the YaBB SE board, wasn't it. :D

To represent on-line and off-line status now, the 'check-mark' beside each Member's name is used. When it is lit up (white) then the person is on line, and when it is just dark blue, then the person is off line.

    Hope that helps,

    snap

I usually check in every day. I pick up whatever tips I can so that I don't have to ask any silly ?. Also I check to see if Mr. Blaze still is keeping an eye on me since we had a dissagreement on some poll or other last year.

I really appreciate a site like this where a "numbie" can visit w/o fear of being exposed.

Thanks to :) all, Big Ed

I didn't vote, as sometimes it's once or twice a day; other days it's many times/day. Depends on what's going on in the forums that I read.
