    Yes

I use them all, some every day, others when needed. Each has it's purpose. Some are disabled until I need them. One extension is currently being evaluated for it's possible usefulness. It was added yesterday before I posted. so the number is unchanged.

I'd drop Antisocial (DoNotTrackMe/Ghostery would block those from what I see at Chrome Web Store), DNT (Do you mean DoNotTrackMe by Abine? If yes, then keep it.), Google Analytics Opt-out (Ghostery/DoNotTrackMe blocks it already, doesn't it?), Keep My Opt-Outs (Both DoNotTrackMe and Ghostery should cover all of that.).

You could decide whether or not to use both DoNotTrackMe and Ghostery, but even though there's overlap, last time I checked they always block something the other doesn't. So...

Have you tried enabling it in the browser's own settings? It's under chrome://flags. It says it's experimental, but I haven't had trouble with it.

As for mine, I only use a few like ABP, ChromeIPass, and DNTM. I was using HTTPS Everywhere but it kept showing error messages, apparently conflicting with something else (probably DNTM).

Dropped ScriptSafe. Script blocking is annoying. :ouch:

Now using ABP, still only one.

Drop it. Useless, considering that Google Chrome allows the user to set the Do Not Track header in the browser settings, right next where you can enable/disable Safebrowsing.

Open the following link chrome://settings, in Google Chrome, which will open Chrome settings, then go to the bottom and choose to show the advanced settings, go up and find the setting Send a 'Do Not Track' request with your browsing traffic. Enable it.

It will be one less extension wasting resources. :)

Thanks, but the DNT setting on Chrome was already on.
I dropped that DNT and installed DNT by Abine. Should I drop it as well?

Why do people use something other than Firefox?
How can people browse whithout extensions?

    A mystery to me...

    Wynaut?

Attack surface, buggy addons, resource usage (ABP uses ~60mb of RAM in Chrome).

    There, mystery solved. :D

On my computer firefox is just as fast as dragon.
I stick with firefox for the great extensions and custom features.

As for chrome being more secure,
    Thats a debatable subject.
