3 with Chrome: Google Dictionary, AdBlock, and StumbleUpon although I haven't used this extension for a long time, I guess I like to stick to well known websites, not for security reasons, lately I find too much diversity unappealing.

Opera - 0, as I use the url filter.ini with Fanboys list there. As Adblock is a memory hog.
Chrome - 2, Donottrackme and HTTPS everywhere.

    Plus a good hosts file.

With Firefox and Palemoon, I rely upon No Script for security. I used to use a stack but I find they did nothing apart from making browsing more difficult. I would use ABP and a selection of filters but I've got Ad Muncher instead.

    just one: NoScript.

i am very wary about installing any extensions/addons/plugins.

if it was included in Firefox i would not be using any addons.

*I usually browse with cookies disabled and I'm a bit conflicted at the moment as to whether an automated extension like this is better that managing it myself. But the extension is convenient for site transitions.
