I hear that BitDefenders firewall while intelligent can be difficult to configure properly. Does anyone know?

Just wanted to mention that in addition to SafePay, you can also manually sandbox browsers with Bitdefender.

One question I have regarding Bitdefender that I hope someone can answer for me.....does it have the ability to "exclude" other software from it's monitoring and scanning? (i.e. - like how ESET NOD32 and Outpost Firewall Pro can be added to each other's "exclusion" list)

Do you have to obtain a licence from a regional vendor like Kaspersky has implemented?

I have the BitDefender AntiSpam addin loaded into my Outlook 2013 and it's working swell. I'm sure the AV is scanning the incoming/outgoing too.

BitDefender IS 2013 has the ability to Recover and delete files from Quarantine and it does show a message asking the user to choose. In my case, I just got it today when a friend plugged in his infected USB stick on my computer.

Yes, it absolutely does. I have the Malwarebytes Pro folder + processes excluded from the realtime AV component AND the manual scanning, both.

If this question is for BullGuard then the answer is no; my son who is presently working in South Korea is currently using one of my licenses for IS 2013.

AFAIK neither BitDefender nor BullGuard have region-locked their licenses so far.

I just installed BullGuard on my laptop to see how it runs.
Not at all unhappy with Avast Pro, but was curious about BG. I may even breakdown and try Bit Defender.

What is the PC Tune-up by BullGuard?
    Do you use it?
    Thanks,

All I find, the link did not work, was,
BullGuard’s PC Tune Up removes unnecessary files to improve your computer’s performance. It frees up memory so your computer runs at top speed.

    What unnecessary files?
    Thanks,
    Jerry

    Internet temp files
    Windows temp files
    Broken registry entries
    Unnecessary start-up applications

EDIT:you don't have to use that feature at all.

I disagree with the first part of your assessment on their support. They tend to be very snippy on the Forums. Do not go there for support! The online chat support IS very good to their credit though.
They are also having an issue atm with an ever growing tmp folder. They cannot seem to fix this bug. Its not a big deal but just wanted to mention it.

I decided that I liked both KIS and Avast Pro better. I did not find anything wrong with BG, except it did not have something like Safe Money.
So I removed it and am using what is shown in my sig.

    Even cheaper here;

    1. Download Crew; http://store.downloadcrew.co.uk/?act=search&brand=1178

    2. Or even better look on ebay for old boxed copies of BullGuard to upgrade to the latest versions; you should be able to find cheap copies; http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_t...3.TR10.TRC0&_nkw=bullguard&_sacat=0&_from=R40

I picked up my last copy (version 9 and then upgraded) for less than £4 including postage.
