    I am using Kaspersky

    have for years

    had bad experiences with:
Norton - just not working to protect me
McAfee - bonkers pop ups and 1000s of duplicate emails

so they are off the table :)

lately Kaspersky is stopping websites and slowing the computer down to a halt, some other users have had the same problems. (and Also Kaspersky stealth uninstals and crashed MBAM.)

    ---

I use my PC XP for music
so the CPU and RAM is max most times!

I think i am looking for an alternative to Kaspersky that has:

    - Low CPU and Ram footprint - not using valuable system resources
    - protects me very well
    - NOT intrusive

    NOT intrusive =
    ie
    - makes intelligent decisions for me
    - easy to find options
    - no pop ups asking me gobbledegook stuff when i am writing music
    - no stopping stuff work
    - plays nice with backup software (Macrium Reflect) and MBAM (i have to exceptions to Kaspersky for these 2 programs)

so how Does Comodo and Bit Defender compare to Kasperky on these fronts?

or are there other options o_O

    or stick with Kasperky

    Cheers
