How does it work?

    I just subscribed this forum to ask one question: since SpywareBlaster is not running in my system, how is my system protected after I run and close the software?

    There's no daemon or service taking care of anything actively, so I understand this is some sort of passive protection, but what exactly? I couldn't find anything by searching the web or the forum.
