How do you remove the darn Yahoo task bar from IE? (nt)

    Just removed this last night on mine! It is so simple, I overlooked. On the left side of the task bar, where it say Yahoo, there is a down arrow right beside it. Click on the arrow, and the menu comes up, with uninstall as one of the options. Just hit it and YaLa!! Gone!! I was also getting the annoying "update yahoo companion" message everytime I opened my borwser, so uninstalling this stopped that as well!!

    Glad to hear it! I haven't gotten around to installing that particular piece of software from Yahoo, so your answer is greatly appreciated. :)

    Yes, it was that simple, also exactly the same for Google Search Bar as well.
