Stuff seems kinda small now. I tried doing the resolution options but that causing it to glitch up a bit and have multiple copies of what I have open appear.

I've noticed sometimes that changing the resolution during a session can be glitchy in ubuntu. I usually change the settings then give it a reboot and it seems to work fine after that.

You may need to install drivers for your graphic card before you can use lsarger resolutions. In general, system > preferences > screen resolution.

Are you talking screen resolution or font resolution?

IN system appearance set effects to none and then try changing your resolution.
