How do I disable or uninstall Windows Defender in Vista?

    As title. I'm new to Vista and I can't find it in programs/features to uninstall. o_O

    Dunno about uninstalling but I think you can turn it of or de-activate it through the Windows Defender options.

    Windows Defender is part of vista not a add on as it is or was for XP,Hense I believe you can not remove with out a hack to the OS.You can disable its service from starting or disable its real time protection.
