how do i delete backups from safe zone

Hi folks,

I am trying a dowloaded evaluation of True Image 9.

I installed it and it seems to work OK. I made a couple backups in a safe zone partition. I want to delete these now. The help file lists a topic called "Delete Backups In Acronis Secure Zone" but when I click there is no help from that choice.

I cannot find anyway to delete the backups, except deleting the entire zone and re creating it.

Please advise

You are correct. I'm afraid removing the SZ via the Manage Acronis Secure Zone Wizard is the only way to do it.

we really need that ability. A backup becomes filled with backups and if it runs regularly this SZ will be filled with no way to clean it up.

 

True Image will delete the oldest image from SZ automatically when it finds there is not enough space to fit the new backup you just started.

You can find the rules the program follows to do that in the User Guide.
