How can i uninstall ser. pack 3?

    Doesn't show up in add & remove programs.

    I don't have SP3 myself but I did find this at Microsoft Help & Support which gives several ways to uninstall it.

    Also, if those methods don't work, you might give Revo Uninstaller or even CCleaner a try. They usually list more items that can be uninstalled than just what shows up in Windows Add Remove Programs.

    When you looked under Add Remove Programs earlier did you make sure to click the checkbox at the top to "Show Updates"? If not I bet that is why SP3 wasn't showing up for you.

    Thanks Reddawn.got your post too late.I went to system restore,but no problems.The strange thing is sys 3 does not show up in add /remove . But it does show up as successful download in download history.Could restore have uninstalled it?

    Sorry Frank, no idea, I've no experience with XP or its Service Packs, but I doubt its completely uninstalled. Some info HERE on System Restore and uninstalling.

    Have you tried Firebytes suggestion:
