how can i boot from windows xp pro cd

    i want to format my drive c and will xp pro cd make drive c bootable

    yes if you choose to install it as your primary partition during the install

    u mean primary drive is c and secondary drive is d ?

    When i installed Win Pro last week during the install procress it asked you to choose and create a partition on your c drive to install it, a primary and a secondary. I had to format my primary and install it to that.
