Has this happened to anyone? I logged into Hotmail today, and as soon as it logged in, something tried to download to my computer and I hit no. Has this happened to anyone? Was Hotmail hacked?

Yup sounds like a malvert on one of the ads. Parents machine got hit by the one. Malvert loads a Java Trojan and try's to download a file called helpandsupport.exe (or similar) while downloadign a fake av in the background.

I got it to happen again. The file is default.aspx. I downloaded it, it is only 1Kb. I uploaded it to virustotal and nothing?

Where is it loaded from? I mean... does the domain belong to Hotmail/Microsoft itself... or is it a redirection?

Nothing happened here. I'm using Chromium. I got quite a few restrictions in place, such as plugins, JavaScript, etc and website redirection blocking, though.
