Hotmail moved to Outlook.com

    I do like the new Outlook Mail. Simple and efficient.

    Lol, as the comments there say, it's amazing to see him say a positive sentence about MS. Outlook.com is the best webmail provider out there though, imho. Maybe the "look" is a bit boring and too "Metro" for some tastes (my own to an extent), but functionality is top notch.

    Mman79, yeah the look is too modern to my taste.

    Much more I liked Hotmail's interface. Anyway, I use Outlook from Office 2013 to connect to my personal Outlook.com so that the inferface I now see it a bit more to my taste

    I don't often see the interface either since I run it through the Thunderbird client. It saves me from dealing with the ads and the strange behavior of not taking my password often when I try to log in through the website.

    Lol, what about hotline and hot-delivery then? :argh:

    Are they still redirecting you to a gossip page after you logged out? Might be interested to make another account for backup. :shifty:

    I love the new Outlook interface. Much better than any other web mail service i have used. GMail is kinda messy IMO.

    i'm really happy you love the look

    but it doesn't support any more the imap protocol
    i can download my emails with thunderbird

    I think it's ~ Snipped as per TOS ~, compared to a few years ago :p Plus the've put in even more JavaScript etc than they did a few months ago :thumbd:

    the new settings to use with an email clients should be these _http://email.about.com/od/Outlook.com-Tips/qt/How-To-Access-Outlook-Com-Via-Pop-In-An-Email-Program.htm
