Isn't the uninstall option there where it should be?
In Windows Start Menu\ Hitman Pro\ Uninstall HitmanPro,
and/or Windows Control Panel\ Programs\ Programs and Features\ HitmanPro\ Uninstall.

I'm using both MBAE and HitmanPro.alert with Chrome Canary 64 right now (still NG with Chrome) and it works fine.

The HitmanPro BETA's do not install, so there is no need for uninstall.
So I guess you can just delete the HitmanPro file from the HitmanPro directory.

You are right in stating that MBAE made a change in 1.03.1.1220 that breaks compatibility (actually, its a race condition bug).

I can't speak for people in that thread, but about our current and upcoming products:

Alert 2 is compatible with EMET.
Alert 3 is compatible with EMET 4.1u1 (or newer).

That statement in the thread you are linking to was made by someone with four posts in the Malwarebytes forum.

Later, Pedro Bustamante says that it's not worth it to try to make EMET and MBAE compatible, he says nothing about HMP Alert.

The problems between both programs began some months ago with a HMP Alert update, at least for me and some others. I had to uninstall HMP Alert.

Anyway, in my opinion running overlapping security programs always cause trouble. I would chose only one between EMET, HMP Alert 3 and MBAE for exploit prevention.

 

The 64 bit version of Chrome (Dev & Canary) which will probably be available in the stable version in a few weeks works fine with both.

 

When is the v3 beta going to be released?

 

Hopefully soon. Given that MBAE has been released and not to mention their expensive licensing terms, now is the time to take advantage/undercut and further promote HitmanPro with Alert. We have heard Q2 for a very long time, we are starting to get very impatient.

Undercut?
There is a free version of MBAE that offers PROTECTION (block) for the apps (including browsers...) that are the target of the 99.9% of exploits
HPA just gives you an ALERT and doesn't offer protection and it only covers the browsers.

Maybe so, u are correct in that regards but still, Alert will be integrated into hitmanPro and if you already have a license for hitmanPro you will automatically have access to Alert when released. Hitman pro Alert will cover much more than browsers once released. Fair enough no free version, in that regards MBAE or Emet is recommended. In the end if an exploit is blocked or you are Alerted you still possibly need to remove the exploit from your PC.

I would have though that this would of been something that would have integrated into MBAM and not kept separately. I much rather prefer the integration and working together of HitmanPro and Alert, than possibly pay another premium to be covered.

Now you are comparing the paid version and still if HPA detects something doesn't guarantee that HP (paid) can delete it.
No, if an exploit is blocked with MBAE your pc won't be infected so you won't need to delete or clean anything.

IMHO MBAE free is a superior product, but I will use both once they are compatible.

Clearly there is no point in debating, especially when you say things like "I'm Correct" my ego wont go as far as to say "you are wrong". You do have some good points.

To be clear as for my original post #1712, we are awaiting the release of version 3, the basis of your argument seems like you are talking about HPA version 2.6.5.

Nice link by the way interesting read... I never debated the the effectiveness of MBAE. MBAE is out of beta, paid or free it does not matter as HMPA is still currently in beta and is limited in terms of what version 3 will be. We should not compare the two mechanisms just yet, but my above link does provide some insight into the upcoming version 3. I just prefer the the way VERSION 3 will work as opposed to Version 2.

I think you are confusing the current beta with the upcoming beta, which will include exploit mitigation. The current beta just detects man in the browser attacks and mitigates crypto ransomware. Malicious files will indeed have to be removed with HitmanPro.

 

HPA alerts and doesn't blocks browser modifications, but it does block exploits afaik.

Alert 2.6.5 is not a beta product (final since April 8th).

Alert 3 will be out as a beta first.
