Upgraded hmp.alert from 3.1 build 334 to 335 without problems. Build 335 is running fine, so far no issues.

I am repeating a post I made in the EMIS 11 and MBAE threads - I am not spamming - it's just that possibly HitmanPro Alert or one of these two other programs is the cause of a critical issue and I have yet determined which.

I have installed on my Win 8.1 PC, in addition to EMIS 11, I have installed MBAE and HitmanPro Alert. In combination with Bitdefender IS 2016 there were no major issues. But I know BD IS 2016 on its own was giving me browsing issues, particularly with https: sites. But with EMIS 11 have a critical issue. Since installing EMIS 11 my PC has been misbehaving in ways that I have never seen before. My PC will totally freeze from time to time, seemingly at random. It's not associated with any particular activity. Happens when surfing and while playing games. Another strange thing is that if I hit Escape while frozen, my PC restarts. So I don't know where the conflict is. I hated to do it, but I have started by uninstalling HitmanPro Alert. And will see. After uninstalling HitmanPro Alert, I think I should have started with uninstalling MBAE because it is known to have caused an issue at least with KIS, but that was of an entirely different nature = browsers refused to open, and it remains an issue only because of Kaspersky's arrogant attitude in not speaking with MBAE peeps who have a solution which they are being forced to do on their own within MBAE (beta). But my issue is a deal-breaker for someone.

We do not recommend running MBAE and Alert concurrently. That said, do you have any dumps or WER logs?

I live in a dump. Should I send some jpgs.? WTF is a WER :)

I have been running MBAE with HitmanPro Alert for several months with no issues I am aware of. Does MBAE interfere with HitmanPro Alert's protection and/ or vice versa? I believe my issue is that either MBAE or HMPA don't mix well with EMIS 11.

@erikloman - are there any incompatibility issues with Trend 2016 + hmp.alert? I've found that both 32-bit and 64-bit chrome will crash on exe if both hmp.alert and Trend 2016 are installed (I've tried with every build since 329 with no luck). I'm trying to grab WER dumps of chrome right now.

    System runs Windows 10

*EDIT* after attaching windbg to chrome, looks like it's dying here:
    ModLoad: 00000000`57690000 00000000`5779f000 C:\Windows\system32\tmumh\20019\TmMon\1.6.0.1112\tmmon64.dll

I can upload the dumpfiles generated by chrome.exe if that'd be helpful.

All good so far, but I will let you know that with build 334 installed after I upgraded to Win10 TH2 I received a few ROP alerts on programs protected by HMP.A, like Windows Live Mail, the first time I opened the programs. The information mentioned Norton. After closing each alert and re-opening the same programs there was no more ROP alerts.

Sorry I don't have the details now.

Do you really expect them to continue the support they are providing for what you would probably be willing to spend. Frankly I hope they don't do this so they can be around for a while.

I am new to this forum today, and apologize if this is not the place to post this.
After using HitmanPro.Alert free for about 2 weeks with no problems, now it seems to block launch of IE 11. Not sure if this is connected to newer version (currently-v3.1.0 beta 32:cool:. I was using 3.0.59 build 209. System running Windows 7 64bit with FF, Chrome, and IE.,Comodo FW, Avast AV, MBAE, SuperAntiSpyware -all free versions. After uninstalling HitmanPro.Alert, IE works again. Upon re-install of HitmanPro.Alert, IE will not launch again. I tried launching IE from both the programs file folder and the programs file (x86) folder. Also ran SFC scannow -no problems. Is it possible to download previous version to test. Any info greatly appreciated and thanks for your time. The pop up says IE has stopped working Windows can ck online for a solution...... problem details:

does HMPA is added as Trusted in File Rating section of CFW (File Rating > File List > you have to add HMPA as trusted

also add HMPA in CFW > HIPS Setting > Shellcode Injection exclusions > you have to add HMPA

You should not have both MBAE and HMP.A installed together.

He said he was running HMP.A free. And I seem to recall there was already a discussion that said both shouldn't conflict in that case.

Upgraded hmp.alert 3.1 build 335 to 336 without problems. Build 336 is running fine with FF-x64 43.0b3, so far no issues.

That depends. If he only installed within the last 30 days wouldn't he still be using the trial?

HMP or HMP.Alert? This thread is for HMP.A.

Krusty: Is your statement based on an actually demonstrated conflict or based on it having been shown that in fact one degrades the capability of the other?
