Yeah, same here, wish it would show the encryption while typing, that would be nice.

    Erik,
Are you still after someone to run a diagnostic version?

No, scrolling does not display the notifier, it only displays it if I hover my mouse over the browser title bar.

As for when I am typing, I get nothing.

Sorry if my last message made it seem as if it's working as such.

i tried attaching a file to a post in this forum and got the same "ROP" alert, using "firefox 38.0.5" and "sandboxie"..

it seems like there is an issue with using HMPA with "sandboxie" at least when it comes to attaching files to forum-posts..

i mentioned before that HMPA kills IE 6 when i try to run it in "sandboxie", with a similar "ROP" alert..

also, i think surfright should set things up so that HMPA's keystroke encryption will work with the "password safe" password-manager..

We are working on both the keystroke encyrption issue and Alert version 3.1. In addition we have been/are working on improvements reported by @ropchain.

Will there be any new features in the new 3.1 release?

    That's great, thanks very much.
Does the work on Alert version 3.1 also include fixes for several other issues that have been reported by different users, other than the keystroke encryption issue?
I remember several issues were reported, over time.
I remember a version 2 - version 3 upgrade issue reported by MikeRepairs, several false positives reported, several Windows Problem Reports of 'hmpalert.exe stopped working' (I found two recent reports dated June 9), and there are four (minor) issues that I reported earlier.

    Installed build 191 (W7 64 bits/Sandboxie beta 4.19.1/Norton Security with Backup 2015).

Firefox 38.0.6: fly out, green border and encryption.
IE11: fly out, no green border.

Sandboxed Firefox 38.0.6: fly out, green border and encryption.
Sandboxed IE11: fly out, no green border.

I haven't tested Keystroke Encryption fall out,
but I was curious regarding the other Keystroke Encryption related issue, keys aren't decrypted in the PDF-XChange Viewer browser add-on in IE9/IE11.
    I tested HMPA 3.0.43.191 with Windows 7 x64 and the PDF-XChange Viewer browser add-on in IE11.
The issue is still the same, build 191 does not do anything for that issue.

    over 189 install 191 ~ W8.1 w/wo SBIE 4.19.1 + Norton v22
    re: Keystroke Encryption
    IE11 = border, flyout, encrypting | Firefox38 = border, flyout, encrypting | Chrome43 = border, flyout, encrypting | Other = border, flyout, encrypting | F2 n' F3 = border, flyout, \\\\\\\\

For me 191 brought back Firefox flyout and encrypting.
    Will observe and report. :)

Build 191 just addresses the fall out of keystroke encryption caused by race condition triggered by 3rd party security products injecting new threads during process startup.

We discovered that eg. Norton was a commonality between users experiencing the keystroke encryption no longer functioning on 32-bit browsers (Firefox). This sparked our investigation and we were able to reproduce. This led to the fix in 191.

We still have the PDF-XChange Viewer in investigation.

Yes, I guessed so, but as I couldn't be sure, I thought I'd just test build 191 regarding the PDF-XChange Viewer issue, and report about the results - just in case.
I'll wait for your investigation and fix concerning the PDF-XChange Viewer issue. :)

FWIW ~ my 32-bit Chrome never lost keystroke encrypting (as I recall). Maybe Chromes multi-process helped...?

I use a Logitech M325 and the driver is whatever Windows installed when I plugged in the receiver.

It doesn't happen every time I scroll but often enough to notice. I can't really specify any way to reproduce it, but it happens on most pages of most sites at an almost random time.

Edit: I did install a driver offered as an Optional Update by Windows Update now I remember.

Driver Version 6.1.7600.16385 if that helps.
