It's simple, if you have a problem and Hitmanpro saves your butt, then kick a years subscription up to the developer as a thank you. I would like to see the same used in video games as well, where you can pirate a game and if you like it you kick up the full price of the game to the developer. This is my mythos anyway.

For $25 or less on sale, you can get a lifetime license of MBAM Pro that does protect you real time. It is however a resource hog.

I use the free portable ver. of Hitman Pro for a second opinion scanner. No installation required. If it finds something which it never has in my case, you can register for a 30 day trial and remove the malware.

People are really into lifetime licenses due to MB and Sandboxie but to be honest if you think in the long term this business model is not sustainable . . . at least i dont think so. :D

maybe they might get more paying clients if they introduced a business model where paying customers get an additional 2 engines added to the on-demand scans.

i for one would pay for such a feature

HP is worth every cent. It ranks up there as one of the best 3 overall paid products that I have ever used. I could not see myself not having it.

    Just noticed this thread.

HitmanPro has several unique features. HitmanPro is forensics-based and cloud-assisted (multi-vendor). See our blog articles here and here for forensic examples.
Also HitmanPro performs a lot of repairs like rogue DNS settings, rogue hosts file, policies and the recent Reparse Point repair here.
In addition we have Force Breach and very unique Kickstart to remediate rogue AVs and (police-themed) ransomware.
HitmanPro is a single executable (no need to install; can run from any media without installation).
We restore infected system files (restore to original) and we do rootkits/bootkits like TDL4, Pihar, Mebroot/Sinowal, Cidox etc. All in the same tool.
Also we have HitmanPro.Alert that is a free Man-in-the-Browser warning tool that works with every browser (new version is coming btw).
These are just a few features. More features are listed in this PDF description.
But I guess a lot of other Wilders members can name a few as well ;)

You can get HitmanPro for free if you buy a bundle. We have several bundles on our shop page.

    Currently you can get Emsisoft 3PC 1YR + HitmanPro 3PC 1YR for $39,95. I'd say thats a bargain :D

Unfortunately I already have three EAM and OA licenses so i can't buy any more licenses.

So if it was possible to get the bundle with a renewal would be a very good thing.

    I already have a HMP licence (1PC) and i think it's a great product.

Im not telling you to buy more EAM / OA licenses but if you purchase new licenses you could ask the guys over at Emsisoft forums to extend your current license with the new license.
