If they include a real-time shield in Hitman Pro and the CPU/RAM usage would affect my games I think I would have to dish Hitman pro for good :( ... Just hope they would take that in consideration.

Hey buddy, let them introduce it first. I am sure it will be super light anti-malware. :)

Yeah I think it would be better to have an option to disable real-time scanning, at least we the users have the choice. Then that would be perfect :)

A company with that few employees will bring out a realtime version, you think?

Re: Anyone tried out Hitman Pro?

Real-time protection can bring a host of problems, compatibilities, users requiring support, users complaining it missed one file, complaining the program didn't update correctly, program slowed down their gaming and so on.

Adding more features for paid users is the way to go (exclusions - folder locations not to be scanned, scheduled scanning - scan twice a day for example, scanning in stealth mode/background scan, advanced full system scan, administrator control - deploy and scan employee's systems).

Already a ton of other real-time programs out there. We always promote on here 'layers', and hitman pro provides an additional layer. Why promote 'layers' on here (for protection) and then request a program which does just that and provides a second-opinion, request it become an 'only layer' program. :/

We have a document describing how to do scheduled scanning, background scan and administrator control to deploy and scan employee's systems here. It is in the Command-Line Reference PDF.
