I would like if it was possible to have HitmanPro close after a scan unless something was found. Through a command line switch maybe.

Excuse me if these are stupid questions, or I've missed something, but also why does GUI perimeter turn red during classifying phase? For effect? In my opinion it gives impression that infection has been detected, even though I know you can look at count on bottom left of window. A different colour would work better imo.
Don't get me wrong, I love HMP and wouldn't have bought multiple licenses if I didn't. New features are excellent, especially remnant scanning. Thanks :)

It should only turn red when a threat has been detected.

You're welcome Erik. Looking at it carefully while scanning, I suspect it's throwing a FP (heuristically?) on something in my DLs folder, but then not reporting it. Only way for me to identify would be to install it properly like 3.5 release, and do Right Click scans on files, individually?
v3.5 not showing anything. If I can help further, let me know.
    On Windows 7 32bit SP1.

I am responsible for the user interface and the green box will be removed from the final HitmanPro 3.6. Because, next to the fact that after a while it looks weird, I don't like it anymore either. Thank you for your input! Keep it coming :)

Lovely, I got one more for now. Hopefully it comes in time. I also don't think it would require much effort either. :D

It would be nice if Scan with HitmanPro right-click context menu could have HitmanPro icon next to it, so that it stands out. Anyway, I think is one of those "useless" features that become useful when we got an overcrowded context menu. :D

    -edit-

By the way, when performing a scan and HitmanPro detects something as being malicious/malware and I hit the down arrow for more info, I get a list of useful info, but how do I get out of it? Unless I'm missing some option, the only way to get out of it is to hit Close, but that closes HitmanPro.

I encountered a FP with HitmanPro, due to DrWeb. I uploaded to VT, but DrWeb reports it clean.

The scanning speed is indeed below par with the 3.6 beta's. We have been investigating the cause of this and I can report that we have found the culprit and the next build of 3.6 will be just as quick and 3.5!

The next build will be out before the weekend.

Adding an icon to the context menu requires a Shell Extension dll. So its not so easy to do. We'll take it into consideration though.

    Hi Erik,
    You haven't responded yet:
I don't really need the context menu icon as it's located near the top of the list so it's easy to find anyway, but if you do decide to add an Shell extension DLL, please make sure it supports ASLR :)

There is a little close button in the upper-right corner within the white window ;)

    We'll take it into consideration.

We've fixed this. 3.6 will not check for an update when it is performing a right-click scan. Thanks for pointing out the problem.
