:( 9 days left and I never activated it, and malware has never been detected.

If you've read the thread even just for the last one day, you'd know that the developer is aware of this issue and has assured us that he is going to make it right.

No I didn't read the thread I just saw someone commented on it and I added my two cents. It is good to know he will make it right.

The license got activated with build 125 (23 days ago on your PC). Build 127 fixes the bug for new PCs but we did not had the chance to revert the activation on existing users. Keep watching this thread in the coming days.

well the one thing I can say is, issue or not, you dont have to worry about it getting fixed because Hitman Pro offers some of the best support of all products here. That you can take my word on.

Well, I have to second this - especially since I haven't been running a real-time AV for over a year. Could not completely uninstall a corrupted Trend after a virus attack last year and have been relying on HMP and NoScript in Firefox. My bad.

HMP has saved me many times over the past year and are very responsive on the support end. Five days ago got rid of a pesky trojan that an online tech for Avast (in India) couldn't eliminate ten days ago when I had a full blown malware attack with the (I think) ZeroAccess bug. That was a first - HMP stopped in its tracks. I emailed Hitman at 3 a.m. from US CDT and had a response within minutes. The fact that the developers are so accessible here is comforting. And that ZeroAccess is taken care of, doubly so.

After the accindental activation I've 1 day left, but as long it can scan for malware I can't really complaint ;)

Yes you're probably right, but the 30-day trial is also important to me (I was not aware of the accidental activation running and did not have a chance to make use of it).

I updated to the latest build only today (been off windows a few days, working on linux), and it says 3 days left of the trial licence  .

Will have to wait and see what happens in the next few days.

Hmm, I just noticed this. Mine says 24 days left. Don't remember activating it. Is this supposed to be corrected just in case one ever needs the 30 day cleaning grace period?

Go back a few pages. Developers here have posted. If you pm them, I guess they can perform some kind of a fix.

I totally agree. You are better off using a free AV and purchasing Hitman Pro if you want to be thrifty.

I totally agree with the developer, who advertises this product as having a free 30 day removal policy, which for me is now expired without having ever activated it.

No need to keep repeating. Build 128 with the rollback is around the corner (within 2 days).
