    upload failed / 7x64

not 100% certain but reckon this happens since b 117. no trouble with me inet connection.

could be somehow related to FF 4.0b8pre.en-US.win64 (that is the 64bit version), even the browser not running it seems that HMP cannot grab the file for submission

This is weird. Are you running some portable version or a tool like Rollback RX or Comodo Time Machine?

Are you using a proxy? If so you can configure it in Hitman Pro under Settings > Advanced. At default it inherits the settings from Internet Explorer.

If the problem remains then I can offer you remote assistance. I am very interested in the problem. Please PM me if you are willing to let me have a remote look.

question vtol. Those are on your D: drive. Is that the drive you use for everything. My D: is my install drive and is password protected. Just my 2 cents.

a bit more old fashioned, C for OS, D for program/software installations, E for data storage

as update to the forum - during a remote session it turned out that NOD's SSL protocol filter seem to be the culprit, excluding HMP from scanning resolved the issue

    Question :

On the hitman free version, if

'Scan computer daily during startup' fonction is blank. If I check this and I reload Hitman Pro, I notice that 'Scan computer daily during startup' is still uncheck. No ways to check this, maybe it's because the free version ?

    Let me know thanks

Re: Anyone tried out Hitman Pro?

Does it install anything into memory and hard drive?

I don't want a resident AV taking up my laptop resources.

    Is there a free version?

Re: Anyone tried out Hitman Pro?

No if you don't want it to. It gives you the option to create (or not) a folder in the Program Files folder.

Hitman Pro is not a resident AV, it's a multi-engine cloud on-demand scanner

You can scan your computer for free as many times as you want. There is a 30-day trial for scan and removal

So I can use Hitman PRO for 30 days for free and it's fully functional?

    What happens after 30 days?

Re: Anyone tried out Hitman Pro?

I have been using it since March, but I have not needed to activate the 30 day free license, because I have not been infected. :)...but, once you have activated, after 30 days the removal/cleanup of malware would cease. You would need to purchase for further removal of malware. ;)

If you buy one of those package deals on the SurfRight shop you will automatically receive a Prevx key and an Hitman Pro key. So you have to buy on the SurfRight shop. I guess you just bought on the Prevx shop.

It is a shame ESET ain't available as a deal anymore. Since GData and Emsisoft are both no options for me. I hope there will be another deal in the future (by January I hope), otherwise I will have to buy two seperate products, or think about which one I am going to drop.
