I would seem to me that Online Armor would fill a dual role of HIPS and a firewall. I think with what I know now (as little as it is) I would use it as a firewall with an AV. KAV + OA would make an excellent combination, about as bullet proof as one could get.

    Best,
    Jerry

    [maybe make a change.] What?? :D :D

I do think it would be a formidable security application.
BTW I got the mail. Thanks again.

    Regards,

EQSecure and NOD32 should get along okay. As for Comodo Pro FW, you would be well advised to disable Comodo's HIPS module while using EQSecure.

By the way -- I assume you are referring to EQSecure as being "free", & not NOD32. EQSecure is free whereas NOD32 is not free.

Be aware, also, that both SSM & ProSecure have free versions. (I have never tried either of them; I use the non-free versions.)
