    HijackThis log; Pieter, please take a look?

    I am trying to straighten out my nephews computer and have removed what I can with Spybot, Adaware, CWShredder, etc. but there are a couple of things that are being rather stubborn. Here is the most recent HJT log. Thanks in advance!

    You have the Peper trojan, which requires special treatment to put it out of your misery!
    Please download and run this uninstaller.

    Click on the peperfix link, and download the program. Then go off line, and run the program. It will remove the files, leaving one orphaned entry to be cleaned up with Hijack this.

    Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

    I downloaded the Peper fix and ran it. It said that it didn't find any Peper files.

    I had HJT fix the others that you mentioned, rebooted and deleted the others.

    New HJT log, help still needed

    I have cleaned up what I can but I still have some persistent "bad guys" that I can't seem to get rid of.

    Spybot S&D keeps finding DSO exploit entries (5) and says it fixes them each time but they come right back.

    Yesterday, I was told to delete the dmutil.exe from C:\Windows\System32, but when I try, it won't let me. I get a message that it's write protected. Trojan hunter marks dmutil.exe as a possible trojan.

    Also, there is another curious problem I am having. When I try to install SpywareGuard, I get a message that the installer is corrupted and it won't install.

    Can anyone help?
