    Re: hijack and autodial up

    Hi Fushigi,

    Welcome to Wilders.

Before you start, please unzip or move HijackThis to a separate folder of its own. The program will make backups to the folder it's in. These easily get lost in a temporary folder or a folder with other programs.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://207.188.7.150/1296eeed6d6510...ip/RdxIE601.cab

    Reboot.

    Regards,
    Kent

Thanx. Here's the new HijackThis log. I ran Ad-aware too, and it deleted some files too.

    Re: hijack and autodial up

    Hi Fushigi,

This is a recently found new version of the Dutch Switch dialer.

Check the item below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickZip] C:\WINDOWS\System32\ls.exe

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    C:\Program Files\QuickPage <= entire folder
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\ls.exe

    That should do it.

    Regards,

    Pieter
