Report your result to them and they will bug fix it. They can't correct without a recognized report as yours seems to be.

It seems as though their server is currently down. Thought I had an internet problem for a minute.

Has anyone used HiBit Uninstaller to uninstall Windows Modern apps using Windows Store Apps Manager?

I've been trying to uninstall a broken app that doesn't run, but it keeps displaying in the Store updates and fails to update or uninstall.
I've tried using Revo Uninstaller and even tried manually removing it, but without success.

If not HiBit Uninstaller, what other one is better than Revo Uninstaller?

I downloaded the latest AppBuster and used it today. Brought to you by the team that developed O&O ShutUp10.

    Thanks guys.

    I'll check them out.
It's not my computer. It's the wife's computer. I don't install crap like her. :argh:

I suppose you used the Force Uninstall feature in both mentioned programs.

I've only used it in Revo Uninstaller.
I haven't yet tried HiBit Uninstaller using Windows Store Apps Manager.

HiBit Startup Manager is very good too.

As with HiBit Uninstaller, HiBit Startup Manager is much more than a startup manager.

    Other tools include:
    • Process Manager
    • Service Manager
    • Scheduler Task Manager
    • Context Menu Manager
    • System Restore Manager
    Plus more.

Yeah, HiBit startup manager is one of my favorite program. I especially like the monitoring features of it: Startup monitor(it monitors a lot of startup registry entries), new service installations, new task scheduler entries and windows policies monitoring. It does have Virustotal integration too.
However, on my PC, when installing it, it does not add itself to the startup. I have to add it manually, so it starts every time i start my PC. Just press Winkey+R, type shell:startup and drag the program there.

Oh wow. The latest version 3.1.80, which is available via the UI, is a bit messed up. As soon as it's installed, every time you go to open it, there's this error and the UI opens in light mode only.

Have not yet tried to uninstall anything--the UI is messed up there also, showing only the icons of the installed software and nothing else. Did test a couple of the tools and those seem to be fully functional. Hopefully the dev pulls this ASAP, right?

I'm already being prompted for another update.

--And that's messed up too. Downloads, restarts, comes back up as 3.1.80 and loops again.

--Looks like they updated the notification and the website but the download is still the old version.

I changed themes to Windows 10 SlateGray. 3.1.81 installed and no error when opening.

    Win10 machines here.

OK, just now I let the UI install the newest--v. 3.1.81 and it's back to normal. No errors or anything. Nice quick response, HiBit! :thumb:

I didn't have to change any theme on my Windows 10 drive, Krusty. But I'll have to keep all this stuff in mind when I go to update my Window 11 drive. Or wait, maybe not. We'll see.

Here is a snip of the changelog. I was curious as to what was going on there with the UI. You can draw some inferences but who knows. Seems to work fine now. The 3.1.80 version wasn't even mentioned in the changelog list, what a surprise.

Version 3.1.80 was working fine for me. It just updated itself to 3.1.81 which is working fine too.
