    Reboot into safe mode and run a scan from there.

    ok re-did the scan and now am clean, my question to you all
    is what the heck is all that, that comes up blue after the scan
    never saw that with windows 98se and should i be concerned??

    Good to see you are clean now.

    These are "Locked" files, swap files that supposedly can not be infected by a virus.
