    Hi,

When I click on start - Help and support, I received the following message : "Helpctr.exe is not a win32 valid application"

What is the problem and how can I resolved it?

I have a french Windows XP with SP3.

    Thanks,
    Atomas31

Atomas31, have you recently installed any program? How did this problem suddenly appeared? Perhaps a little more info might help other Wilders members assist you.

In the meantime, you can determine if the Help and Support service is running (assuming that it is indeed there) by clicking Start > Run and type in services.msc. Scroll down until you find Help and Support and make sure that the service is set to Automatic and is Started.

If it's not, Right-click this service and then click Properties. On the General tab, in the Startup type box, select Automatic and click the Start button, in the Service Status section.
