    Hi,

Do you mean you want to roll-back to the last database update, or the last program version? (i.e. 3.1?)

In either case, there's unfortunately no easy way to do so. Are you having a problem with the latest version of SpywareBlaster or the database? I'd be happy to try to help. :)

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Did you know there's a permanent ignore function in SpywareBlaster? It'll set any items in the database that you don't want to be protected against so they won't be selected in future updates, either.

Right-click on the database (under either the Internet Explorer section or the Restricted Sites section - in this case, it sounds like the latter applies) and use the "Find..." function to locate the entry in question. Then, right-click on that entry and choose the "Ignore List..> Add Item to Ignore List" option, which will remove protection for just that item and ignore it permanently. :)

Out of curiousity, what site is affected? (Please disable the URL by replacing the http:// with hxxp:// - thanks!)

    Best regards,

Would you mind giving us a site address that's being blocked by the new database ?

    arie,

I do not see anything in the latest update that could be causing this problem your describing. Meaning....no entry in SpywareBlasters Restricted Sites feature appears to be causing the problem and no particular Spywareblaster Internet Explorer ActiveX entry causing a problem.

However....if your using some of the other features of Spywareblaster....in particular it's Tools\Flashkiller feature or you took the advice of SB's Security Alert(pic below)....that may be the cause.

If you don't mind....would you temporarily select Disable All Protection....and then revisit that site. Perhaps then we can possibly determine from that if SB is indeed the culprit.

    hi & tanx

its exactly what i did before writing to you:

when sb is "disable" i dont have the problem.

i start to have it after the last database update.

i dont have it with the firefox (?!)

it is seems like sb activate window pop-up blocker.

    is that possiable?

Ok....to further narrow down the problem....which of the three SB protections causes you to have the problem....Internet Explorer Protection(ActiveX and Cookies) or Restricted Sites Protection ?

If you enable the protection one by one and then check the link....which one do you feel causes this ?

    Hi,

Can you use the Find function to locate "pro-market.net" in the Restricted Sites database, and try unchecking it (and then pressing the Remove Protection for Unchecked Items button)?

Let me know if that works, thanks!

    Best regards,
