Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail all have a virus scanner on their servers so your messages will be scanned by them anytime it hits your inbox.

You said "it always show 0 files scanned". Where are you seeing this number in particular?

In my case it see that in Spam module, I always recive messages but it never change from "total number of messages 0 " and the other "number of spam messages 0 (0%)"

The Virus scan and the Spam scan of your email are not the same.

If you see that you inbox is getting full of messages that are "Spam" and they are not being marked by ESS, you might want to take a look at how you have it configured. The counter won't change from 0 until it actually finds a spam message come through.

Spam scanners do take a bit to train as to what you consider spam.
