This is what he said is going on:

I use Windows Millennium Edition (ME)... just in case they need to know...

and when I try to go to certain websites... well it's hard to explain. =P but you know when you go to a website, in the lower-left corner you see this little text, "loading page www.bobdylan.com"? well it starts flashing that real fast and doesn't go anywhere. and then i can't do **** with the explorer, i have to close it to be able to try to go some place else...

when i try to start msn messenger - well, it just doesn't start even though I click it to open it...
the same thing with my e-mail program, Outlook Express.

all that works now is my ICQ, this old Netscape Navigator (but it sucks because I can't go to certain websites like that update -place of microsoft's site, because your browser doesn't support this and that and blah blah blah. =P)


He thinks it's a virus ..so that's why I posted this here. If it's moved hopefully I'll be able to find it. =P Thanks so much for any help!!!
