I upgraded, or so I thought in early 2007, to Vista Business. I was pretty happy with Vista and the pc as a whole. After a year and a half, I had a drive die on me. While I had the pc apart and all the recovery stuff out, I decided to partition one of the drives adn install XP Pro on it, so I could play my old games. After just getting drivers installed and a tad of customizing, I immediately installed Acronis and imaged the Vista drive. Wiped the main drive and cloned this xp install over to it. I feel like I have a new pc.:D

Excellent system! XP Pro! ...with a very rich resource of a variety of useful and productive softwares that run as stable as never before. Can the same be said for Longhorn made Vista?

I just went back to XP x64 from Vista x64 and I have to say performance is much better overall, just faster by far. I'm seriously thinking of sticking with XP now, after using Vista for about 6 months. I like Vista, but there is no denying that XP is quicker. :thumb:
