This option was available as of version 10.1.21.136, but disappeared in .334 and is still missing in .471... Yet it's still mentioned in the help file. Is there still a way to enable this setting? I wouldn't have even bothered updating if the bug in .136 didn't keep me from using the file Restore Wizard (detailed here): https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=358523 What is going on? This is just ridiculous.
I haven´t noticed any increase in image sizes, so perhaps the skipping is now automatic, as it should be. I think this option is not necessary.
Check your settings readout again... http://i.imgur.com/MkxmFCl.png Either it still is an option, and the ability to enable it got removed in the update (yet it still remains as an option described in the help instructions)...or the settings readout is wrong. Either way these just seem like amateur mistakes. (And in what is supposed to be one of the flagship suites.) Not what I'd expect from a company this big and with this much history. (not to mention a $50 product) I'm starting to see what people were talking about when they say stuff like "I've stuck with Paragon for years, but due to quality issues I'm considering moving." and "Paragon has lost me as a customer"
Browsing the Knowledge Base, I found a "confirmation" that the "OS Auxiliary Files" are excluded automatically in HDM 14: "Hard Disk Manager 14 and later versions will skip content of these files automatically so checkbox will not appear in settings." - http://kb_wp.paragon-software.com/article/910.
