Having Problems Installing ESET Smart Security

    Everything is going well till the end of installation, this message appears: Service 'ESET Service' (ekrn) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services......I asked for help a couple of times, and most of them told me to uninstalled either all antivirus programs or an old version of ESET. I did uninstalled all antivirus programs but I never had ESET, so I'm wondering what would be the problem then?

    This might happen if u had symantec norton softwares installed. Even if u remove them, they leave some files behind and that causes other anit-viruses like Eset to mis-behave. Make sure u have removed everything of the previous anti-virus like live update etc and the folder in program files no longer exists.
