    If that is the free multi av scan tool by David Lipman it is a highly respected program and has been around for many years.

    Has anyone used Avert? I'm just trying to find out if there is a multi-engine scanner that removes infections for free.

    Eh I used it and it wasn't what I was looking for. I though it would be more like Hitman Pro but with free removal.
