Has anyone had problems with AVG 8.0 after installing xp sp 3?

If so, what were they and which version of XP do you have.
Even if you had no problems please post them here.

No matter the version (it is one , v 2002) , no matter the edition (Home,Pro,Media Center) , SP3 installation is the same , performs the same things and changes

After installing XP SP3 my update for AVG 8 will not work. I don't know if it is just a coincidence or not. What problem are you having?

 

i am not yet, have not installed it yet, was wondering in anyone had problems putting it on with avg 8.0

At first I had some problems but now I have AVG8 and also XP SP3 working.

 

No problems so far here with AVG 8.0 and Windows XP SP3.

 

I have not had any problems with AVG 8.x AV/Spyware & SP3 on both of my machines running this combo (one desktop and one laptop).

Robinb9, are you having problems with SP3 and AVG 8.x ISS or AVG 8.x "plain"?

 

no not yet, I just wanted to see before i put it in if anyone had problems.

I put it on one computer so far running the free avg 8.0.
A suggestion would be to make sure you uncheck residential shield and if you are running the pro- the firewall-disable it before putting xp sp3 on.

Then exit the program - then install xp3
