Has anyone checked out filseclab lately?

    seems like cis is going the way of old norton
    heavy assed intrusive and fd up installations
    looking for alternative

    now have ssantispyware, filseclab, geswall

    For a free firewall it's hard to beat either Comodo or OnlineArmor...

    Have you used the newest version? It has been nothing, but smooth for most people and very light.

    It's a strong 3-way combo you have there. Filseclab's FW is quite good -- many posts here at Wilders about it. Ditto for GesWall & SSA.

    Latest version I see is v3.6 (2005). Is there a more recent one?
    Used Filseclab FW some time back, found it light and efficient.
    One thing I liked about Filseclab was it's logging: logged actions indicate which rule number determined the block or allow action taken.
    Great convenience when troubleshooting / editing rules.

    I was referring to you saying CIS is bloated.
