Hardware firewall..

    Hey,

    I would like to know anything and everything about how to set up a hardware firewall.
    There are 2 systems; system1 & system2.....system1 will be used to check e-mail, surfing, chating etc. I want to setup system2 mainly as a firewall and IDS. It will also check incoming e-mails for viruses etc. So all traffic will actually go through system2 and then to system1.

    How do I go about setting up the ethernet cables etc..I need detailed info on this.Any URL/Tutorial will do aswell.. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
