Well I'm no mother (It'll be hard for me to even marry LOL )

But I'll wish all of you who are mothers (including my own Mom), a VERY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

 

yes same here. in addition since mother's day is the eighth, id also like to say happy birthday to my dad

 

What is a Mother?


A mother is someone who not only gives you life,
But someone who teaches you wrong from right.
A mother is someone who cries with you when your world falls apart.
Someone to confide in when you’ve got a broken heart.
She is someone who listens when you need an ear.
Someone who dries up your river of tears.
She is someone who loves you unconditionally.
Someone who protects you faithfully.
She stays by your side at night when you’re sick or in pain.
She is the one to shelter you from the rain.
A mother is the person who will try to cheer you up when you are down.
She will hold you when you’re sad and try to make you smile instead of frown.
She will always put you in front of all the rest,
Because you are her baby, which makes you the best!
A mother is the one to discipline you when you’ve made a wrong choice,
But she will still be the one at every choir concert to hear your voice.
A mother is the one to take you out trick-or-treating,
Then check all the candy to make sure it’s worth eating.
She is the one to buy those great new shoes you’re dying to own.
But she never complains, not a sigh, not a groan.
A mother is a caregiver, but yet she’s so much more.
Sometimes I don’t think we realize what mothers were put here for.
A mother is your backbone,
The one to give your heart a home.
A mother is very special and should be treated with care.
Because the love a mother gives is so very very rare.

 

As a mother, I thank all of you for the good wishes. Nice poem Rita! I might add a mother is someone who still loves you, even if you don't phone or come for a visit.

Happy Mothers Day to all mothers at the wilders forest. They have a very special place in the world and much more power then the world understands. I am a true believer in the hand that rocks the cradle theory....

As for Mercurie's spouse she is a fine mother and does a excellent job of tending the nest.

I hope all the Mothers have a great day. I just went and visited my Mom this morning, and now I am taking the girls out shopping for their Mom. I suppose she will want me to cook tomorrow too(anyone know the number to pizza hut, LOL)
