Well i was extremely lucky today. The first time i checked the question was still the one from yesterday, but not even 15 minutes later there was a new question. So Lady luck was there for me today.

 

Aye, remember it's the first 100 answered correctly questions with the new daily question that wins the license. It's not a raffle draw

Considering todays question has been up for a few hours, it's more than probable that it has been answered correctly 1000 times + so far

So if you are desperate to win a license, it's all about keeping an eye for the new daily question to appear, be one of the first hundred to answer the question correctly and to use an approriate browser to see and click the send button.

No doubt people will be exploiting the system and using different emails to win more than one license.

It's more along the lines of fun than desperation, don't you think?

I wouldn't be surprised if they were at liberty to hand out more than the 100 advertised prizes per day.

Do you get an email soon after answering the question or does it take more time to know if you won?

 

Entered just after 15.00, got e-mail at 18.53. It does not say you've won but rather:

'We have received your request to re-send the license file for your avast! program. Normally, your license file is sent to you automatically by email, but occasionally this email is blocked by spam filters; please add avast.com to your list of trusted senders to ensure you do not have this problem in the future.

Your license is attached to this email. Please save the license file to a secure folder on your hard drive and make a backup copy of it in case of any future loss of data. This file is needed to fully activate your avast! program. Please now insert the license key into the program.;

But it attaches a 365 day licence starting on your win day.

Just opened my mailbox & found with pleasure an email from Avast containing license key & instructions.

Wonder if it will work with Avast Pro too. Actually I do not want to use the firewall. Is it possible to opt out of firewall while installing Avast Internet Security? Any advice in this connection will be highly appreciated.

You can deselect it when doing a custom instal. I did it myself - it is worse than the WIN7 built in firewall at least I think so.

 

Well everybody got their license keys, and i am very happy much for that ... but i tried thrice and didn't got anything.

As I stated yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if avast! decides to hand out more than the 100 advertised prizes per day. The early results just from the folks on this thread tell me that could be the case. I think if you keep at it, you will get one. Try it on the hour, one hour before your time zone day change, i.e. @ 11 pm your time. That is when I saw the question change and I quickly submitted my answer & email. Within 3 hours, I received notification. Good luck!
