Is there any way free users can disable guard.exe? As it uses a lot of resources on my computer, yet I don't have the realtime guard installed so why is it running?

    Thanks

iirc, guard.exe is teh service component.

just to Control Panel > Adminstrative Tools > Services and set teh ewido service to disable. ewido will still function for on-demand.
